A Tie is Forever?

Have you heard a diamond is forever? The thing you put on a finger. Then, how about a tie is forever? Have you ever heard a tie is forever? If so, what does that tie look like? We are going to give you a second or two.
A few students were asked about that and to think about professionalism. One said the answer was a bow tie. A few others chipped in on the lecture, as well. Another possible answer was a blue tie. Because it meant you were democratic and people would like you. However, that wasn’t quite right. If the discussion continued, the answer would be red, correct? That is the right style and means business. It’s sharp and means you are powerful, according to tradition.
It’s a good way to think and to communicate indirectly. Possibly in a boardroom, where you want things and your business to last forever. But then how and why would a successful business leader say a tie is forever.
That person most definitely wanted you to think about business and how it all works. Well, just like a diamond, a business tie is forever. That is, a relation, a network, or even a coworker. That coworker could become your next partner in business to make you a $1 million.
So while the slogan seems somewhat susceptible, it’s principle is valuable. When you go to work, remember this or you should remember this; it might make your day a little easier. In business, you want to remember a tie is forever. It might just make you popular.
