Corporate Level Strategies

Edge. Chaotic. Innovation. Global perspective. These are the mega trends to corporate strategy. It’s an art of ensuring that the value of the enterprise as a whole is more than the sum of its parts. The goal is articulating two things, when it comes to corporations. A vision of a great company, and one that has great stock.

Whether you are from MIT or Global Mergers and Acquisitions for BCG, leading a team to environmental governance should follow theory. Most agree that there are four types of corporate strategies, or an explanation of the different types of strategies that are created. Those are even part of this era called, American Metamorphosis. Converging numbers of concerned areas, requiring nonlinear solutions are about these four types of strategies.

1. Stability

2. Expansion

3. Retrenchment, and

4. Combination.

Our team at Tranzit diagnosed these areas, and found it important to remember the order. Most companies require stability as the first aid. If you succeed, then, you expand. Reinvigorate and find costs to acquire more and existing clients with retrenchment. And of course, add all the strategies that succeed in some generic form. Most call this a Combination Strategy.

A strategy to change is a choice. Requiring a decision based around foreseeable times. A relative change within a firm can create a modest position for its industry. Remember, it’s a basic model that you should always use.
