What do you think about, when you hear the word model? In today’s world, what does the word mean? Perhaps, you think of Heidi Klum. Let’s say, you want to take a more conservative approach, and that the word model might mean more than just a person that wears nice clothes and advertises for a company. Perhaps you think of Tesla and the Model X. It has the word in it. If this were a business lecture, you might think more about history and the Ford Model T.
Let’s try this again, the word, “model,” could use a better clue such as mathematics. It might not help, but it might make some sense. Just like the model we want—not a fashion actress. In school and some, if not all, professional life, models are very important. Representations.
However, when we think about finance, or possibly other business and science fields, we think of systems that follow the laws to how a thing or possibly an equation behaves. It’s a great way to study something.
A lot of us at Tranzit, do think about Tesla when we hear the word model. We don’t think the word means "car" like in recall, but what a company uses in building and designing the presumptuous ideal of a car. Yes, the best a car could ever be, before planes become the next mode of transportation or compact saucers in Orbit City. What else could models look like?
