No Tricks

If you go to the store and purchase Trix, you don’t expect toys or other products.  You expect Trix; not tricks.  It might be, if it weren’t the product in side the box.  Now, if you purchase a vehicle, you expect a car that lasts 30 years.  Even if you trade it in, later down the road.  You might say the business is not tricking you.

Let’s say, you purchase a phone.  It can last a decade.  Plenty of useful life.  But it also has apps and other technology that you never expected.  And yes, it helps you.  It saves you $5,000/year.  Then, you still might say it shouldn’t trick you like that.  If you purchase a happy meal and get two extra burgers.  You might say that, especially if it has an effect on your health.

In this world, most adults and/or consumers want to purchase things that aren’t tricks.  Even if it’s great.  Or such as a toy that causes confusion because of its shape and style.  The person wants a simple product that is what it says it is.  Correct.  But we typically don’t ever reach a perfect product or service.  There’s something always a little off.  However, it’s all part of the learning curve.

Create business solutions that have no tricks and don’t leave it to the learning curve, even if there is one.  Be honest and straight forward.  If you want to succeed for real.  Yes, sometimes there just is a learning curve and there’s not much to think about, but sometimes we should remember the learning curve in this universe moves us.
