What’s In A Diploma?

Ink.  Big piece of paper.  A cover.  Font.  Special font.  Signatures and names of the campus President.  It’s all part of your diploma that usually looks real professional and spectacular.  But there’s more than that.  What are we forgetting?

How about 1,000 pages?  Maybe Euler or famous essays written long ago.  Maybe it’s actually 20 books with each being 1,000 pages.  That’s 20,000 pages.  It might, also, include an “A” in upper level poetry.  Ever thought like that? We don’t typically think of a diploma that way.  It’s usually just a peice of fancy paper with the school name and such.  But doesn’t it say the name of the prestigious institution.

A diploma says, figuratively speaking, all those things you complete at school or college.  It says how much you passed and in what field of study.  So, it’s up to you to paint your own diploma, in what you know.  Remember that.  It says you are accredited and at a starting point to your career.
