When we think about a favorite time of the year or season, there are a few holidays that we think about. Your's might be X-mas. When there is snow, we often want to think about X-Mas lights. When we want to show off our holiday spirit, we also think about X-Mas lights or the X-Mas tree. That also takes lights. As a business person, student, or even a consumer, what comes to mind when we think about X-Mas lights? More specifically, what is the X-Mas lights of business? The answer is not Santa, though he comes along with the thought, and bolsters some business. The answer is not the card from your friend you never see.
The answer is green grass. It is the, ‘eww’ and ‘ahh.’ That is how we were taught in the old days. Those around drive near real estate or the office, and opinionate based upon the way the lawn looks. Even though, we still research if it actually increases sales, we sure know it helps business and keep those of us happy. This includes the old leading us in our career. It helps invite prospective clients to the office. It, also, maintains a better spirit for business. The owners like it. A good lawn is like the sparkling lights of a grand home. It tells us the season. And from that, we can tell the type of seasonal sales, just by looking at grass.
We can guess that type of car a person drives. We might even be able to tell what type of business it is, so long as it’s as great as the fairway on Pebble Beach. Green grass at your business is like the X-Mas lights we all cherish. It gets us set for the weekly routine of our office jobs, and it definitely might bring in a customer or two. So there you have it. At least part of or start of it. When you see X-Mas lights, think of green grass, not just snow.
